1. Introduction

The Frequency Allocation Board (FAB), operating under the Government of Pakistan, invites applications for project-based positions under the initiative “Establishment of Islamabad Monitoring Station Housing FAB HQ’s Building.”
These appointments are made on a Project Pay Scale (PPS) basis for two years, extendable depending on project requirements and performance.

2. Job Details

Open positions include the following:

1. Assistant Director (Civil) – PPS-07 (BPS-17)

• No. of Posts: 01
  
• Gross Salary: Rs. 157,500
  
• Age Limit: Up to 28 years
  
• Qualification: B.Sc. Civil Engineering (Min. 3.5 CGPA or 75%) from a HEC-recognized university
  
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in planning/execution of construction projects
  
• Skills: MS Project, MS Office, Primavera-P6
  
• Preferred: M.Sc. Civil/Structural Engineering, public/private sector experience
  
• Responsibilities:
  
  • Oversee construction and technical operations of FAB HQ’s new building.
    
  • Ensure compliance with standards, safety codes, and project timelines.
    
  • Manage QA and site supervision.
    

2. Assistant – PPS-04 (BPS-11)

• Gross Salary: Rs. 52,500

• Experience: 2 years in administration or office support

4. Driver – PPS-02 (BPS-05)

• Age Limit: Minimum 25 years
  
• Qualification: Matriculation
  
• Experience: 2 years driving (public/private sector)
  
• Requirement: Valid LTV License
  
• Preferred: Intermediate education with valid experience certificates
  

3. Key Responsibilities

• Support planning, supervision, and documentation for FAB HQ’s construction.
  
• Ensure compliance with technical, administrative, and legal project requirements.
  
• Maintain efficiency in daily operations and logistical support.
  
• Facilitate project monitoring, procurement, and correspondence.
  

4. Required Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant academic degrees as per the post requirements.
  
• Experience in civil works, project management, or office administration.
  
• Strong command of MS Office, project software, and official communication.
  
• For technical roles: knowledge of engineering standards and construction oversight.
  
• For drivers: a valid LTV license and a driving experience certificate.
