2. Job Details

Employment Mode:

Initial engagement shall be on a contractual basis, subject to extension upon meritorious performance and satisfactory completion of the training-cum-probation phase.

Age Requirement:
Candidates must be aged between 21 and 30 years as on 20th October 2025.

Qualification Criteria:

• Applicants must possess a Sindh domicile and a valid PRC (Form-D).
  
• Candidates with foreign academic qualifications must furnish an HEC equivalence certificate.
  
• Government employees are required to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.

3. Key Responsibilities

For Sindh Sales Tax Officers:

• Execute audit inspections and tax assessment exercises on Sindh Sales Tax compliance.
  
• Facilitate the implementation and supervision of tax collection policies.
  
• Preserve meticulous documentation and analytical records of taxpayer data.
  
• Support field enforcement squads in ensuring adherence to statutory fiscal obligations.
  
• Engage in continuous capacity-building sessions and professional learning modules.
  

For Public Liaison Officers:

• Serve as a communication conduit between SRB and the business fraternity/public stakeholders.
  
• Address queries, grievances, and awareness initiatives relating to taxation services.
  
• Contribute to public mobilization campaigns promoting revenue generation.
  
• Curate communication collateral and assist in orchestrating public engagement forums.
  

4. Required Qualifications & Skills

For Sindh Sales Tax Officers:
Bachelor’s (4-year) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or Law from an HEC-accredited institution, with a minimum 60% marks or CGPA 2.5.

For Public Liaison Officers:
Bachelor’s degree in any recognized discipline from a reputable university.

Technical Proficiencies:

• Command over Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  
• Insight into taxation mechanisms and administrative systems (specifically for Sales Tax Officers).
  

Interpersonal Competencies:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
  
• Eloquence in English, Urdu, and Sindhi.
