Introduction

The Government of the Punjab, via its Directorate General of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education (LNFBE), extends an invitation to aspiring educators for online enrollment under the flagship project “Establishment of Adult Literacy Centers in Punjab (Read, Write, Thrive)”.

This noble venture endeavors to eradicate illiteracy and foster enlightenment across all 36 districts, offering zealous individuals an avenue to nurture adult learning and uplift community intellect.

Job Details

 Project: Establishment of Adult Literacy Centers in Punjab
Designation: Teacher
Engagement Type: Part-Time | Honorarium | Six-Month Fixed Contract (Non-Extendable)
Area of Work: Within the applicant’s native District, Tehsil, or Union Council
Deployment: Province-wide across Punjab

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and administrate an Adult Literacy Center within the designated locality.
  
• Enroll and sustain an assemblage of 25–30 adult learners (aged 15 years and above).
  
• Liaise with the Literacy Mobilizer to ensure precise data registration through the NFEMIS digital portal.
  
• Conduct literacy modules and fundamental education classes aligned with the official curriculum.
  
• Advocate for literacy awareness, mobilizing local participation and social involvement in educational endeavors.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Academic Qualification: Matriculation with at least 50% marks.
Preferred Qualification: FA / Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Computer Science.
Domicile Requirement: Punjab Province.
Age Limit: 18-55 years.
Gender Inclusion: Male, Female, and Transgender individuals encouraged to apply.
